Lan Qiu Huo, starring Jerry Yan, Wu Zun and Luo Zhi Xiang will start airing this Sunday on CTV. This is by the far the strongest cast team of all the idol series in history. And I must say it will definitely blew off the rating charts. But I am a little worried, because the storyline is bascially a combination of MVP Valentine and Basketball, maybe it's not exactly the same but I think I have a pretty good idea what this is gonna be about. Seriously, if you're gonna have such a strong team of actors, you have to make the storyline unique as well. But this??! Does NOT scream for anything but the clicheness that we already witnessed 5000 years ago.
Anyways, today was the big press conference for the series, I saw a three minute clip, it was so awkward that even I wanna dig a hole and go into it. Jerry was being himself, but at a place like that, he needs to at least pretend to be happy. I know he's not the hyper type but he already created a horrible temper reputation for himself since Meteor Garden, if he wants to continue in this business, he needs to know how to play the game. Because being yourself will lead to nowhere. And I can't believe Wu Zun got into middle of this, I mean it's great he did this and all but he needs to be a little smarter and just let the other two resolve their own conflicts. He should have stood on the side and watch the drama happening.
Whatever, as an innocent by stander, I think I'll just pause my comments here, not that anyone would care what I say.
For those of you who are a fan of any of these actors, please turn in this Sunday night, 10pm on CTV for Lan Qiu Huo!
