After spring forward time changing, the day time is getting longer for sure.

Those blooming flowers are so beautiful and I keep taking pictures.

Time flies is the cherry blossom season again.

The cherry trees are in full blossom. It is really hard to find a good way to take picture with clear background.

Portland winter light festival started last weekend and I was only able to stop by one place in downtown area.

I only took few pictures and left right away. 

The winter storm made campus close early or open late.

Merry Christmas and joyful Happy New Year!

I am so glad to hang out with my friends and exchange gifts.

It was surprised that I received warm messages from my friends who were not in the same time zone with me.

I also got a gift card from my boss ! 

Since the art museum is near my apartment and university, I used to visit it almost monthly by using the bank free admission.

Recently the museum is under construction,and the available exhibitions were reduced.

When the school started in Sep, it was still green leaves around campus. Once few weeks went by, it became a little difference with color changing on the tree.

幾週前秋季班開課校園妹還是一片綠意盎然，雖著氣溫降低秋雨來襲，秋天的校園開始有了枯黃的落葉。

Pittock Mansion is located near Forest Park and it is Portland's Finest Historic House Museum.

The weekend before Fall term started, we were able to use get free admission via  Washington County Cooperative Library Services. WCCLS Adventure Pass

Right before the Fall term starts I was lucky enough to have snowskin mooncake from my friends. She was thinking about potluck ideas to share the culture from our country, and she ended up making something realted to Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. The feedback from my american friend was not too sweet. To me it tastes just right. Thanks for sharing the ice mooncake with me. 

There are lots skills required for my research to move forward.

Recently I noticed that learning curve takes time to overcome challenges.

Most of the time I put chicken into the oven to get the main dish ready, but it takes at least 30 minutes to have the chicken all done.

When I am in a hurry, I put chicken with bell pepper on the stove. It turned out ok.

Zhongzi is a traditional food for Dragon Boat Festival. I am so lucky that my friend gave me two zhongzi two weeks ago,

She wants to know if I like it. I told her that I did not try yet since I want to save it until Dragon Boat Festival.  

As the spring term will be official ended soon, I am glad that I am going to be one of the summer GTAs.

Althouth summer term is very intensive, we should be able to get it done as we expect.

Portland Japaness Garden is a beautiful to talk a walk but the admission price is high for me. Luckily I was able to book the Advanture Pass from WCCL in order to visit the garden for free.

It was a super hot Saturday when the heat wave arrived. Most visitors walked to the natural garden or tea garden after they entered.
