learn, mean, need, offer, plan, promise, want, ......
Ex :
Ivy plans to travel around this island, so She is saving up my pocket money.
Andy learned to speak four languages when she was little.
We decided not to take this trip.
３．一般動詞 ＋ Ｖ–ｉｎｇ
﹡admit, avoid, consider, discuss, enjoy, finish, keep,
imagine, mind,postone, practice, quit, regret, ......
Ex :
Have you considered studing abroad?
Sherry enjoys playing with little kids.
４．一般動詞 ＋ ｔｏ ＋ Ｖｒ ／ Ｖ–ｉｎｇ
﹡begin, continue, dislike, hate, like, start, love, ......
Ex :
I hate to wait in a long line. = I hate waiting in a long line.
５．下列動詞接不定詞或動名詞，意義不同。
1)) forget / remember to + V 忘了／記得要去做某事。
2)) forget / remember + V-ing 忘記／記得已經做過某事。
3)) stop to + V 停下來做某事。
4)) stop + V-ing 停止做某事。
６．too + adj / adv + to + V 太…以致於不能…
adj / adv + enough + to + V 足以做某事
Ex :
Tracy is too young to drink.
Bill is old enough to go to school.
７．後接Ｖ–ｉｎｇ的特殊語法
﹡be busy, can't help, can't stand, have fun, have a good time,
have difficulty, have a difficult time, have a hard time, have trouble,
never mind, sit, stand, lie, spend, take turns, ......
Ex :
Did you have difficulty anwsering my quietion?
Peter stood by the window drawing a picture.
８．感官動詞 ＋ Ｖｒ ／ Ｖ–ｉｎｇ
﹡hear, listen to, see, watch, look at, feel, taste, smell, .....
Ex :
I watched Sandy get / getting on the bus.
Jenny felt someone touch / touching her shoulder.
